Yesterday i've read some topics talked about Berberis Aristata, hmm..what is it? okay, i'll explain to you about this plant and what is the point can we take, ehem...Berberis Aristata is family of Berberidaceae, and it commons name are tree turmeric, Indian Barberry, Ophthalmic Barberry, it's part used of Bark, Fruit, Root, stem and wood, Berberis habitat's it's found in himalayan region not far from himalaya mount maybe hehehe (just kidding), and Berberis are distributed from kasmir to uttarakhand, product offered are Bark and stem, Berberis part is uses for : The plant is anti-bacterial (wooow), anti-inflammatory, astringent, alternative, antipyetic, antiperiodic, anti-septic of course, anti-cancer (ckck..it's amazing), bitter, cholagogue, diaphoretic, emenagogue, laxative, stomachic and sweat-inducing. It's mainly used in eye diseases, haemorrhoids, amenorrhoea, leucorrhoea, piles, sores, peptic ulcers, dysentry, heartburn (what is it mean? sakit hati kah? i don't know), indigestion, hepatitis, intermittent fever, and chronic ophthalmia. An infusion of root is useful in treatment of malaria, skin diseases, diarrhea (diare), and jaundice. A docoction is used as mouthwash (not toothpaste) for treating swollen gums and tootache (sick teeth). it's also used to treat infection, eczema, parasites, psoriasis, and vaginitis.
